Missy Higgins

Missy Higgins

Missy Higgins has enjoyed phenomenal success with her irresistible melodies and 'arrow through the heart' lyrics, delivered by a striking voice that clearly means it.

Missy's highly acclaimed albums The Sound Of White (Album Of The Year featuring the hit singles ‘Scar’ and ‘Ten Days’), On A Clear Night (featuring North American top 20 airplay hit ‘Where I Stood’ and ‘Steer’) and The Ol’ Razzle Dazzle (#1 album featuring ‘Everyone’s Waiting’) have sold over two million albums and singles globally. With new single ‘Torchlight’ from the Australian film Don’t Tell dropping earlier in 2017 and a bevy of evocative classics, there’s sure to be some magic moments on the coast when Missy Higgins performs.

Tesky Brothers

Tesky Brothers

Honouring that old school Motown sound and working it into something of their very own, Australian four piece The Teskey Brothers stunned many in 2017 with their gorgeous debut album Half Mile Harvest. A raw combination of soul and blues, the record has warmed the hearts of listeners everywhere. Following a hugely successful debut tour of Australia through July/August, The Teskey Brothers made their first international appearances in October this year with sold out headline shows in LA, New York and London. Listening to The Teskey Brothers you’d be forgiven for thinking of Stax Records alumni in Memphis circa ‘67 rather than a group of twenty-somethings from the Yarra Valley near Melbourne. Onstage singer Josh Teskey’s smoked whiskey voice defies expectation while the band around him hold an irresistibly tight groove beneath heartfelt soulful melodies.

Stella Donnelly

Stella Donnelly

Stella Donnelly was raised between Morriston, Swansea in Wales and the burbs of Quinns Rocks, Western Australia. Donnelly got her start singing Green day songs in her Aussie high school rock band, eventually turning her interest to jazz and contemporary as an adult studying at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts.

At the beginning of 2017 Donnelly released her debut EP ‘Thrush Metal’ and was met with critical acclaim. The five-track release was written over the space of two years; a musical undertaking resulting in a bold and unapologetic repertoire of songs which has forged Donnelly to the forefront of the new guard of Australian songwriters.

On home soil, Donnelly won the inaugural Levi’s Music Prize, as the ‘most outstanding talent’ at Brisbane’s Bigsound conference, a swathe of Western Australian Music Industry Awards, including Best EP, Best Folk Act, Best Single, Best Female Vocalist and Most Popular New Act. This was quickly followed by Australian national youth radio station Triple J awarding Donnelly the ‘Unearthed Artist of the Year’ award. In November, Donnelly travelled to London to perform sold out shows as part of The Great Escape’s ‘First 50’.
