IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT CHANGES TO THIS EVENT:

SUMMERSALT WHITFORDS, SUNDAY MARCH 21, 2021 - CHANGE OF VENUE

If you hold a ticket to this event please read carefully.

The COVID 19 situation has been challenging for everyone. For us in the concerts and events industry, it has been a daily, ongoing series of changing guidelines and directions from government, with a high degree of uncertainty about what kind of events can and cannot be staged. The goal posts change almost daily.

The latest health guidelines now tell us we cannot stage a concert at Hillarys Beach Park (aka Nodes Park) Whitfords, unless it complies with a set of regulations that simply would not allow us to deliver a professional and viable world class concert event at that venue. The latest guidelines, published in January 2021, are around seating, distancing, and dancing.

If you would like more information about this and the WA Governments guidelines regarding events, please see:
https://www.wa.gov.au/government/publications/covid-event-guidelines

To that end, we are relocating this concert to a different venue, which, under current COVID restrictions, will allow this concert to go ahead. The concert will now be held at FREMANTLE PARK, Ellen Street, Fremantle. THE DATE AND ARTIST LINE UP DOESNT CHANGE. It is still taking place on Sunday March 21st, 2021, with the same great line up - John Butler, The Cat Empire, The Teskey Brothers, Boy and Bear, Montaigne, and Emily Wurramara.

We understand for some of you, its further to travel. However Fremantle is easy to access via the Fremantle train line, and its just a short walk to Fremantle Park. And surely its better to travel a little further and have the concert go ahead, rather than have no concert at all?

One other change, again to comply with current WA Health COVID restrictions, is that this event will now be FULLY SEATED. Every patron will be provided with a seat. The seats will not be allocated, so patrons will be able to chose their seat after entering the venue. It will be first come first served. But please note, there will be plenty of seats and plenty of space, so no need for concern. So, please do NOT bring your own fold up chairs or any other type of seating.

COCONUT CLUB Ticketholders:
There have been some changes for Coconut Club patrons. For the better - you will have access to the first 12 rows of the seating, closest to the stage. On top of that you will still receive your dedicated access to the bar via a dedicated lane and a token for your free cocktail. There will be no dedicated area, however the provision of seating close to the stage will help to offset this.

TO SUMMARISE:

  • SUMMERSALT Perth show is being relocated from Whitfords, to Fremantle Park.
  • The artist line up does NOT change.
  • The date does not change (still Sunday March 21).
  • Patrons will be provided with seating. Theres no need to bring your own fold up chair or any other type of seating.
  • Coconut Club patrons get access to the first 12 rows of seating, closest to the stage.

Also please note the NEW GATE AND PLAYING TIMES.

2.00PM: GATES
2.00PM TO 2.20PM: EMILY WURRAMARA
2.30PM TO 3.00PM: MONTAIGNE
3.20PM TO 4.00PM - BOY AND BEAR
4.30PM TO 5.45PM - JOHN BUTLER
6.15PM TO 7.15PM - TESKEY BROTHERS
7.45PM TO 9.00PM - THE CAT EMPIRE

Please understand that we have done everything we can to still make this concert go ahead. The changes are because of the WA Health Department’s guidelines and restrictions around concerts and events. They are beyond our control. However, we are absolutely sure you are going to have a great day/night and have an amazing time at Summersalt with these brilliant artists.

Refunds will not be considered unless there are exceptional circumstances. This concert is still proceeding on the advertised date, with the advertised artist line up, and at avenue still within the Perth metropolitan area. There are no substantive changes. If you chose to seek a refund, there is a process and you must do so by contacting Ticketmaster via this form: https://help.ticketmaster.com.au/hc/en-au/requests/new

Please do not contact the promoter to request a refund.
